Ahhh, Summertime! The sunshine. The BBQs. The seashore. The warm evening breezes. It's all so great. It's all before us.
Boston offers us another summertime treat - an annual right of passage that everyone should experience - the evening sky and a sunset from a one-of-a-kind, city-skyline roofdeck vantage point.
Join Boston Uncorked at our 2nd annual roofdeck wine soirée, where we'll spice up this intriguing 
scenario with tasty reds and whites suited perfectly for summer, add-in friends - old and new, live music, unique artwork, appealing light appetizers from blu restaurant and a multi-million dollar view, all together on the year's longest day of sunlight.
This is about celebrating both a season and that day when there's absolutely no turning back to winter; that day when the sun and earth align perfectly and we can officially proclaim, "It's SUMMER! In astrological terms it's called summer solstice. In Boston Uncorked parlance we call it, appropriately, Summer Solstice II.
Summer Solstice II is a sensory experience that will please your palate, excite your eyes and ears, and soothe your soul.
The featured wines will appeal to your taste buds with crisp, refreshing textures that pair well 
with summer's warm temperatures. A panorama including Boston Common, the State House and Cambridge on the horizon makes an ideal foreground for a late-setting sun, with The Patrick Purdon Jazz Trio adding to the ambiance, and artist Giovanni de Cunto with us on deck displaying some examples of his eclectic, original paintings he has masterfully created in his Boston studio.
So, get into a warm-weather mode, don some summertime duds and join in the celebration of the season with Boston Uncorked on the outdoor viewing deck at The Sports Club/LA - Boston.

** Venue logistics for Summer Solstice II require that all attendees must pass through event registration in the Club lobby by no later than 7:45PM. Sorry, we cannot accept later arrivals. Thank you.
