Our Introduction to Blind Tasting event at BCAE in April was incredibly popular, and feedback was so positive we've decided to do another blind tasting!
Blind tastings are a great way to take both your mind and your taste buds on a fun, educational (and quite tasty!) journey. Can you identify the grape varietal you are drinking without knowing in advance? Can you discern the differences in flavor characteristics of winemaking styles of, say, Chardonnays from California vs. Australia?
Of course it is not necessary to be able to do any of this in order to enjoy wine, but it can be fun to test your knowledge. You may surprise yourself with how much you know!
Vincent Bair
We'll do multiple side-by-side comparisons of both white and red wines from different countries. Expertly guiding us will be Boston Uncorked's Vincent Bair, a wine industry veteran and a certified sommelier.
Whether you are just getting started with your journey into wine, or you've tasted many wines already in your lifetime, or something in between, this intimate tasting event is for you. Absolutely no prior wine knowledge or experience is required.
